The model also has a dual exhaust system and vertical taillights that are connected by a chrome bar.<\/p>\n<p>Like most redesigned models, the XT5 is larger than its predecessor. Length is up 2.9 inches (75 mm) to 192.4 inches (4,888 mm), while width grows 2.1 inches (54 mm) to come in at 77.1 inches (1,957 mm). They\u2019re joined by semi-aniline leather seats, which feature thicker padding as well as backrests that adjust 23\u00b0 front and 5\u00b0 rear.<\/p>\n<p>Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, a floating center console, and an air-cooled 15W wireless smartphone charger. They\u2019re joined by a nine-speed automatic transmission and China\u2019s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/01\/this-is-the-new-2025-cadillac-xt5-that-may-come-to-america-too\/\">previously revealed<\/a> the crossover has 227 hp (169 kW \/ 230 PS).<\/p>\n<p>The company didn\u2019t say much else about the model, but confirmed a twin-clutch all-wheel drive system that can send 100% of rear power to either wheel. The XT5 also has an adaptive damping suspension that adjusts 100 times per second to deliver a comfortable ride.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of technology, there are 22 active safety features including adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and automatic emergency braking.
